- New Stratix 8300 switch communicates between segmented networks for better performance and security
The Rockwell Automation Stratix 8000/8300 industrial Ethernet switch line with Cisco technology is the first of its kind. This modular managed switch line uses the current Cisco Catalyst switch architecture and feature set, along with powerful configuration tools, helping to provide secure integration with the enterprise network using tools familiar to IT professionals.

- Build fast, flexible Ethernet networks using Device Level Ring (DLR) technology.
DLR takes advantage of embedded switch functionality in automation end devices, such as I/O modules and programmable automation controllers, to enable Ethernet ring network topologies at the device level.

We have developed a migration strategy that will allow users to quickly and easily migrate to our Integrated Architecture from Modicon Controllers and 800 Series I/O, while maintaining the existing field wiring and physical footprint in your control cabinet.The Bulletin 1492 Wiring Conversion System also provides a fast and efficient way to convert existing I/O field wires from a Bulletin 1771 I/O system to a Bulletin 1756 I/O system.

- Integrated Motion on EtherNet/IP fosters design flexibility
We have announced a new portfolio of products and enhancements that help provide high-performance, closed- and open-loop drive control on EtherNet/IP. The portfolio includes ControlLogix L73 and ControlLogix L75 programmable automation controllers (PACs), Kinetix 6500 servo drives and PowerFlex 755 AC drives.
