New Servo Drive Allows Machine Builders to Network Entire Control Solution over EtherNet/IP
Our new Allen-Bradley® Kinetix® 300 EtherNet/IP indexing servo drive provides machine builders and end users with the ability to standardize on a single communication network for easier commissioning, configuration, and start up of the servo solution. With the new drive, the entire control solution – including HMI, programmable automation controllers, I/O and motion – can be networked over standard, unmodified Ethernet.

The drive is ideal for applications requiring a cost-effective, low-axis machine solution, and supports a total of five indexing types and 32 indices. The Kinetix 300 also provides seamless integration with Allen-Bradley MP-Series™ and Allen-Bradley TL Series™ motors and cylinders.
To help protect personnel and increase productivity, the Kinetix 300 servo drive also comes equipped with the Safe Torque-Off function which can safely eliminate motor torque without removing power from the entire machine. In addition, this new servo drive has the voltage and power ranges to meet a wide array of global machine requirements.
